The Glen Newby Scholarship Fund is now accepting applications for three scholarships, one award of $2,500 and two awards of $1,250 each, from Simcoe County youth affected by adversity and challenges to help them reach their learning goals.

“We are thrilled to, once again, partner with New Path Youth and Family Services to support deserving youth in our community through this scholarship,” says James Thomson, President, and CEO of The Common Roof. “I encourage youth who could use some financial support to apply.”

Applications are open until April 30, 2024, and are available to any young person up to the age of 24 years residing in Simcoe County, entering, or continuing in post-secondary studies and/or apprenticeship programs. More information and the application form are available at:  www.thecommonroof.ca/scholarship

“We are proud to continue to honour the legacy and commitment of former New Path CEO Glen Newby’s almost five decades of work in the child and youth mental health sector,” says Jim Harris, CEO of New Path. “We are thrilled to support deserving youth in our community to help them reach their learning goals.”
