Georgian Hosts In-Person Tours During Campus Experience Week April 25 To 30

Thinking about becoming a Georgian student? The best way to see what we’re all about is to visit us in person. If you’re considering applying or have questions before accepting your offer, Campus Experience Week April 25 to 30 is your opportunity to take a guided tour of the Barrie, Orillia and Owen Sound campuses, and Lakehead-Georgian.

Here’s why it’s worth checking out:

  1. Explore campus and classrooms, athletics, the library, on-campus food options, and more.
  2. Ask questions and connect with our friendly student recruitment team.
  3. Get help filling out your application and apply for FREE right on the spot.
  4. Snag a Grizzly swag bag filled with cool gear and accessories.

Parking is free and visitors can bring two guests. You’ll even be able to check out the residence at the Barrie Campus, and virtual residence tours will be available at the Orillia and Owen Sound residences.

“This is our first major offering of in-person tours since the pandemic began and we know our future students are eager to visit our campuses,” said Kristy Linklater, Associate Director, Marketing and Recruitment. “Campus Experience Week is the ideal opportunity to find out in person what we have to offer as you or your loved one explore postsecondary options. Our knowledgeable and friendly student recruitment team is here to answer all your questions and assist you with applying to college. We can’t wait to meet you.”

Pre-registration is required. Book your time slot using our campus booking calendars. Please check GeorgianCollege.ca for the college’s latest COVID-19 safety protocols.

If you can’t attend, you can still connect with a member of their recruitment team or attend an upcoming virtual Get to Know Georgian event on April 12 or 19. There will also be a session geared specifically to Engineering and Environmental Technologies programs on April 14.

Accelerate your success and see why Georgian has one of the highest graduate employment rates among all 24 Ontario colleges, and is a recognized leader in student work experience.
