Special weather statement in effect for:
- Bracebridge – Gravenhurst
- Huntsville – Baysville
A low pressure system approaching from the south will bring some snow into portions of Central and Eastern Ontario late Saturday into Sunday morning. General snowfall amounts of 2 to 5 cm are possible with higher amounts over higher terrain. Ice pellets are also possible along the international border. There may be a significant impact on transportation in these areas.
At this time, there is still some uncertainty with regards to the track of this system. Thus the confidence of the exact locations and amounts of snow accumulation is low. Meteorologists at Environment and Climate Change Canada will monitor its development and provide further information as the system draws closer.
