A person is deceased after a collision involving a Motorized Snow Vehicle (MSV) on an Ontario Federation Snowmobile Clubs trail (OFSC).
On April 7, 2023, shortly after 2 p.m., members of the Nipissing West (Sudbury) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Sudbury Paramedics Services responded to a single MSV collision on OFSC trail #C111D, Tyrone Township, north of the City of Greater Sudbury.
A 53-year-old-person from Plattsville, ON, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation is continuing with the assistance of an OPP Collision Reconstructionist and an OPP Technical Collision Investigator (TCI).
