On Sunday July 21, 2019 at around 12:40 p.m. Bracebridge Fire, Muskoka Paramedic Services and Bracebridge OPP responded to the area of Bracebridge Bay, Wharf Road for a male swimmer in distress. The 21-year-old male was pulled from the water and taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.
The name of the male has not been released. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
