Bracebridge OPP have charged a male with impaired driving, after he was driving the wrong way on Highway 11.
On November 20, 2018 at 7:06 p.m. the OPP received a call for a vehicle being driven Southbound in the Northbound lanes of Highway 11. Bracebridge OPP officers were able to stop the vehicle near Highway 117, still being driven the wrong way on the highway. The driver of the vehicle was immediately arrested for his driving. After further investigation, the male driver was found to be impaired by alcohol.
Daniel Walker a 55 year old male from Kapuskasing has been charged with
- Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood
- Driving While Ability Impaired- motor vehicle (Alcohol)
- Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle
Walker’s driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days under the Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension (ADLS) and he will appear in court on December 11, 2018.
