On Sunday December 20, 2020 at 9:08 a.m., the Muskoka Lakes Fire Department responded to the their second call for service, for a reported chimney fire on Apairy Road, Acton Island.
The fire department says a faulty chimney caused a fire that spread to the walls and floor.
There were no injuries reported and no word on a damage estimate.
